Doesn't sound familar- where did you get this from- an original document or transcription?

came from 1841 census an Irish ancestor living in Shropshire.Clutching at straws really but thanks for reply.

Could be a handwriting problem or English enumerator not understanding an Irish accent. Can you post that bit from census here?
