1851 / 61 / 71 look up Freeman

I'm looking for William Freeman 1817 Slinfold and wife Phebe 1816 Billingshurst.
 Phebe was in Slinfold 1841,  married there in 1843 and was still there in 1881, so I presume they would be still be in the area in 51, 61 and 71.

hope that's not too much to ask in one go.

Can you give more details?    I assume this is the marriage of Phoebe Gibson to William Freeman?  Have you got the certificate to confirm their ages?  What children did they have?
In 1841 there is a William Freeman, a carpenter, on the same page as Phebe Gibson Female servant, but his age does not match the birth date you have.  Seemed an odd coincidence though.   They are not showing up easily in 1861 at the moment.

All I know of the family is the marriage of 1843 and finding them in 1881.  I'm just back tracking.  Like you I thought the William in 1841 was the one Phebe married but his age in 1881 isn't consistent.  Sorry I can't help more

do you think possibly John's age is wrong in 1871? and he should be 16 not 10 -16 would be more the age to be a Tailor's apprentice

yes he is 36 in 1891 but it does very clearly say 10 in 1871 so enumerator boob!
