Hi Ricky,
I don't think it's her  unless I've gone up the wrongpath which is always possible.
what Im trying to do is to find the marriage of a William SKELTON to a Hannah.
She according to the 1871 census came from Algakirk.(they also had a son Tom Justice/Justin on that census too).
She had died by 1881.However I got a little excited when I found a marriage in of all places Stockton in 1874 for a William Justice SKELTON to a Hannah Maria ENGLISH.Justice you must understand is the Skelton family name as well as being my William's fathers name and I just took the big step of thinking that in 1871 they must have been "living in sin".Now I'm confused.

just had alook on the 1861 for a Hannah born Algarkirk, and there is no Hannah English on that one
and there aint one on the 1851

Hameringham is only about 4 miles from Revesby.
There is a marriage in 1868 for a Hannah English in Boston, only prob is there are only 3 people on the list

Hello Trisha

Here's another possibility to the "living in sin" bit. Perhaps there were 2 Hannah's! Mind, I do see that the Hannah who died in 1880 was the same age as the Hannah living with William in 1871! That is awfully coincidental

The birth certificate for Tom Justice Skelton would check the maiden name of that Hannah
2nd Quarter 1869 Horncastle Vol 7a page 512

As for the Hannah English who married William in 1874, do  you have her marriage certificate or just the note of it?
1st Quarter 1874 Stockton vol 10a page 104

At least that would give her father's name and might help track her down.

I can confirm the burial at Revesby 18 Aug 1880 of Hannah SKELTON aged 48.
