Have just learned of a book about this subject, which is to be published in January. It will include, amongst other things, details of Citations, causes of death and some photos. I have suggested to the author that he advertise on the
For Sale Board
here on Rootschat, but just thought I would bring it to the attention of those of you on this WW1 board in particular and suggest you keep an eye on the other board.
Hope it will be of interest/help to someone.

Thanks for this Scotmum.
A lot of these men put themselves in harms way to tend to the spiritual needs of the fighting men. Many lost their lives and many earned well deserved medals up to a VC and bar I believe.

Me again, folks. The author of the book, The Revd David T Youngson, has given me permission to advertise same, on his behalf, on the For Sale board. The details can be viewed at:

Have just heard that book is now being printed, as planned. A number of advance orders have apparently been received, but if anyone else still wishes to purchase a copy, orders are still welcome (see link in first post).

A bump for folks who may have missed hearing about this book back in January/February.
