WEIR MARRIAGES IN EDINBURGH

I am trying to find marriages for the following:

Alexander Sutherland WEIR born 1861 in Caithness - can't find on census
Catherine WEIR born 1864 in Staxigoe, Caithness - still single on 1881 census in Leith.
William WEIR born 1870 Wick - can't find on census
Angus Sutherland WEIR born 1872 Staxigoe  - on 1881 census in Leith
Jamesina WEIR born 1874 Wick - still single on 1881 census in Leith
Marjory WEIR born 1878 Leith - still single on 1901 census Gorgie
Gavin WEIR born 1880 Leith

I realize perhaps some of these never married but it would be very useful to be able to find out if any of them did and I have no idea how to go about finding this out.  Any help gratefully accepted.

I think the middle Alexander is mine.  He was born in Caithness in 1861.  His parents were James and Catherine.

Can you also send info on the Williams born in 1865, 1869 and 1874 as they could be mine.

The Alexander was not mine - wrong parents. Mine had James and Catherine for parents.  The William with Margaret in Brown Place was mine as was the William with Alexander and Jane.  Thank you.  If there are any remaining could you post them?  Thanks once again for all your help.

Could you possibly look in the 1881 census for another family for me?  Found them on 1891.

Christina ORR b. 1866 Edinburgh, worked in  rubber factory
Elizabeth L. ORR b. 1874 Edinburgh

Also
Louis COLLINS b. 1859 Edinburgh.  Worked in rubber factory.   His parents were Peter and Margaret but have no dates for them.

i haven't had any luck as yet with your Orr family i'm afraid. (maybe you could tell me where they were in 1891 and that would give me somewhere to start?)

but this looks like Louis Collins for you along with his brother Peter staying with an aunt and uncle? - so i thought i would have a look at the igi and see if i could find out any more.......... (hope you don't mind  )
