Hi Annie,
Last week we saw one edge and now we can see all of it but just can't read it It's between the pillars on the far wall, right at the back, not the one on the left Never mind I'll put on my list for Santa So at this rate we might soon have it all

It's the one right at the back between the columns. The one on the left is the X1th Station of the Cross. This photo is taken from a video of the last mass - very moving

I wish I could figure out what the last few posts on this thread are about - how did we get into a church from the Lees Street cenotaph ?

Sorry ... it's me and my butterfly mind again !!

The church is the St Francis Monastery in Gorton .... or the Gorton Monastery .... and I'm doing a WW1 Honour Roll for it ..... the original has been lost .... so I'm collecting all kinds of photos etc to see if we can find the original names ! Tony just came across a film of the very last Mass that was said there in the 1980's

Sorry if we confused everybody ..... but it's Christmas after all !!

I realised as I was posting, it may have been to the wrong thread, but Annie is so prolific in her postings you have to catch her when you can
