Emigrant to the US or Canada

Smudger28 had posted in the lookup offers thread that he is willing to look up immigrants to the US.

I'm looking for the date of emigration for a Peter Copelan, born 1823 in Penryn, baptised Jan, 1824 in Perranarworthal, listed in the 1841 census in Mylor and then was married in Markham, Ontario, Canada in 1851.

I have a fair amount of information about him but have been unable to discover when he arrived in Canada.

His sister Mary, b 1828 also emigrated to Canada and married a George Hopkins in 1871, in Markham, Ontario. I've been unable to find the date of her emigration either.
