Blaenwrach nr Glyn-neath - Christening PRs

Does anyone have access to the above? I am looking for the christenings of Owen, Magdalen and Thomas Davies between 1868 and 1877, children of Rees Davies & Eleanor Lewis.

I've checked indexes for both Aberpergwm (1849-1921) and Blaengwrach (1895-1925) baptisms and there is no record of the people you are looking for.

At Aberpergwm there is a Magdalen Elizabeth bp 1.3.1901 daughter of William Lewis (wagon repairer)and Ann Magdalen of Pentreclwydau - don't know if that helps.

I've also now checked Glyncorrwg which covered Blaengwrach and no luck there either.

Thanks very much for your help.  Which period did you cover in Glyncorrwg? I am looking at around 1868 when the family moved there and some time after 1877, when they appear to have left.

Thanks anyway. Eleanor was the daughter of a Methodist minister so it is possible the children were christened as Methodists, although she married in the Church of Wales.
