« on: Sunday 02 January 05 19:00 GMT (UK) »
Anybody kow anything about Crawford family who were in Manchester to Blackburn around 1880 - 1900. Susan Crawford was born c.1884 in Lower Broughton (Manchester) and married James McNulty in c.1907 in Blackburn. Had a brother called James (born in Blackburn in 1891).

Susan's mother was Emily E., born in Pendleton c.1856

All I have for Susan Crawford is the 1901 census - RG13 3905 22, page 36. Her age is given as 16. I have applied to Salford for a copy of her birth cert but they cannot find her! Her mother is there also in the 1901 census - Emily E. Lindsay (Lindsay I have assumed to be her name before she married husband Crawford - Emily described as widow in 1901). I have the Lindsay info for 1861, 71, and 81, but nothing about Susan Crawford e.g. for 1891.

The James and Ludovic Lindsays living with Emily in 1901 are her brothers.

Can you help?

Thanks,
Ian
