I don't know if you need any more info than this, if so, give me a shout.
Many thanks in advance.

Hello Shaun
May I have a lookup as well please?
Could you please look for E W Stanley who died about 1916? He may have been with the Border Regiment, Cumberland but not really sure.
His full name was Edward Wilson STANLEY.
Thank you very much.
Kind regards and God bless you,
Lynne

Hi Shaun,
Can you give me any help with this one.
EDWARD SIDNEY MATTHEWS (Maybe a name variation) i.e one T in Matthews or a Y in Sydney.
WW1 Between say 1916-end all I know is he lived in West Ham and was a private in the Essex Regiment.
I think there was an Essex(WestHam)Regiment.
With many thanks.
Peter

Do you know his birthplace, Lynne? There are quite a few Edward Stanleys.

Hi Shaun
Yes, he was born in Keswick, Cumberland and his parents were Mark and Annie.
Thank you!
Lynne
P.S. Have not been able to find him on CWGC site but his surname and initials are on a memorial in Keswick and am wondering if he is my relative.
P.P.S. Forgot to mention, my relative Edward Wilson STANLEY was born in October 1888 if that proves helpful!
