C1 Anne was the wrong Anne - she was born 1836 - I have a baptism 1836 Eccles Father Thomas, mother Elizabeth - I am thnking Clare as I have a marrage there - still sorting1 Hope this helps you.
Anne married Thomas Worroll and went to Australia where their first chld Charles was born in Oct 57. They were married in May 57 - and there is a catalogue of cover ups - the marriage date is 15th May, 1857, but at various stages in their lives (marriage dates are included on Australian birth certs) they gave their date of marriage as 1856, 15th May 1856 and 15th May 1855, but never 57!
Anne also gave her birthplace as Bath, Somerset on her son's birth certificate, but subsequently said Manchester. Igf this Eccles baptism is correct - her birthplace is given as Barton on the IGI - so perhaps it as a slip in the translation. Who knows!
