Sinclair/Johnston
« on: Sunday 30 December 07 23:36 GMT (UK) »
I am researching my family tree and have come to a bit of a dead end. I am researching the Sinclair side of my family and I have a female Sinclair who married a Mr Johnston in 1943. He was in the Royal Canadian Corp but I can find nothing about them after this date so I was wondering if they moved to Canada, what makes this more likely is I cannot find her brother also a Sinclair or her mother Mrs Sinclair listed anywhere on the Scottish records after 1943. Does anyone know how I can find out if they did move to Canada. Any help would be most appreciated.

Boop.

Hi, Boop...
We are supposed to be a genealogy site looking for ancestors...and it's hard to help you so far into the century, anyway....
but read this, and please also remove the fornames from the posting...( can leave the middle names) as these may be names of the living...

I did find someone by that name in the U.S.

but I suggest looking through the Canada resources on our sub board and also trying Canada411.ca

If this is the correct Ernest that J.J. found, then his last residence was Aurora
Arapahoe, Colorado, but it looks as though he first lived in Virginia.

Thank you for the replies I didn't realise I shouldn't mention the names as I was originally looking for the mother of the family who was born in the 1880s, I only recently found out about her children. Thanks again for the help.
