CARR Family from Old Town, Letterkenny
« on: Friday 04 January 08 04:21 GMT (UK) »
I wonder if anyone could help me? I am trying to trace my roots. My family name is Carr, my great grandparents names were John and Mary Carr/Kerr they lived in Old Town, Letterkenny. My Grandfather was called James he married Violet Holloway from Derry. My Great grandfather had a brother possibly called William.

I have searched the internet high and low and cannot find anything.

My Grandfather James Carr is the gentleman on the left born approx 1915.

If your grandfather was born in Mar 1911 he should be on 1911 census which is online at http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
Do you know the name of his mother?
