1861 census lookup please

hi i am looking for the 1861 census for the surname westcough/wescough mainly those born in bradenham, norfolk. any info would be grateful

Hi Amandalouise,
                    who exactly are you looking for and which part of Norfolk are we looking at?? I looked at the 1851 as that is name searchable and there is nothing for that name the closest is Wescott or Westcott. But none born in Bradenham
So just incase I tried the 1861 and trawled through the Bradenham pages covering both east and west and not a sign of any. Maybe if you gave a few more details we could help you better ok

Hi Anjo the person i am looking for is John Wescough he was born about 1837 in Bradenham, Norfolk accourding to the 1881 census, also Mary E Wescough born about 1861 Newton, Norfolk daughter of above, i am afrraid i don't have any more info than that.

Wow I think you are going to have some problem with this family.

I had a look at Newton by Castleacre 1861
Newton Flotman and Newton St faith 1861 no sign of any.

They were the only Newtons' mentined on the place index for 1861

I had a look for John in Bradenham 1841 but no joy there ither.

I don't know where else to look.

I can only find your family on the 1881 census

and a handful of bmd's mainly in Middlesborough dist.

Sorry I can't be of any help. And I wish you all the luck as I think you are going to need it with them.
