Location of Swan Court Southwark?

I am researching my family tree and discovered my ancestors were living at 3 Upper Swan Court, St Saviour, Southwark back in 1841-1851. Does anyone know where Swan Court is with reference to current roads?. I can't find it on maps and it would be good to know. My relative is Mary Fuller who was listed as a schoolmistress, so if there is any way of finding out where she may have worked I would also be grateful.

There are lots of old maps  of London including Southwark at www.oldlondonmaps.com but it's a case of looking.

According to my Gazetteer, Swan Court was in the parish of Christ Church.

You can just about see it on this map in the section marked 'B', towards the bottom.

Hi,

There is a Swan Court at 9 Tanner Street, which is off Bermondsey Street, but pictures I found on the internet indicate it is not as old as that.

Tanner Street used to be called Russell Street in the link to the old maps given in an earlier posting
