For Officers I have few Army Lists around that date. Or you could search for entries in the London Gazette where all promotions are listed.

For Other Ranks you will have to refer to the Muster and Pay Lists in Kew. If it is an individual you are after you could also search for his service papers, again in Kew.

Is this from a certificate?
