Merged 2 trees into one. Kinship list problem!
« on: Wednesday 09 January 08 17:11 GMT (UK) »
After dithering for a long time i have finally merged my 2 family trees into one big tree. FTM 2005.

That's fine, i still have them as separate trees also BUT-----with the large tree i've noticed that the 'Kinship list' doesn't seem to work accurately as it does on the separate smaller trees. It has the nerve to leave me out all the time  :o plus others too.

 Does anyone have an explanation for me ;D  Poli

You've probably got some duplicate marriages. When I merge in FTM, I find that suddenly someone has two marriages. You will have to merge the spouces too.

Have a look at each of the people and see if the records are right.

Good luck - it's a tedious task!  ::)
