1841/ 1851 Census ANN HELLIER, Horsington Somerset
« on: Friday 11 January 08 20:46 GMT (UK) »
Could anybody help locate Ann HILLIER on the 1841 and or 1851 Census.

I have found on the her burial on the NBI

Burial  13 July 1851 Ann HILLIER age 78  St John the Baptist , Horsington Somerset

I think she was a widow,

The problem is that the spelling of the surname alters, it may be HILLIER, HELLYAR, HILLIAR, HELLYAR, HELLIAR

Her death seems to be recorded under HILLIAR Ann Sept 1851 Wincanton

Any information will be appreciated

Cass

I wish to thank you all for your terrific information,

Ann's husband christian name was Thomas but I thought that he died  in 1827. I have found a THOMAS HELLIAR aged 62  on the NBI also buried at St John the Baptist, Horsington on 4 Jan 1827

Maybe I will purchase the death cert for the Ann HILLIAR Sept 1851 Wincanton, it may give me a clue to work out which  Ann or Nanny is mine...

Thanks again
