Dear All you Roots Chatters

I am not sure if any one can help. I am looking for the marriage of Edward Cox born Ropsley 1880. He was my Grandfather's Brother. I know he got married as I am told his wife played the organ at  Ropsley Church. There were children.
He died Dec 1946 and is buried in Ropsley Church yard .

                       Please can you help me

                              Kind Regards

It would help if you found him on some census's to help  establish the approx year  of marriage. Also he age at death .

Free bmd does have this entry ,  that would make him 21  :-\

Thomas Edward Cox Sept q 1901  7 a - 1057 Lincolnsire

Other name on the page is Emma Rose

Dear Patrish

I have him on the 1901 census single living with his mum and family in Ropsley.
On the grave it says he was 66 years old. there is no grave stone for his wife,

                          Kind Regards

Hi naffi

There's no Edward COX on FreeBMD in the Grantham District I'm afraid. (up to 1920)
Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened.

Hi Pattish

Thank you for your help, I will have to see if some of the older people in Ropsley knew her name. You never know they may not have married. :-[

I will get back to you

                      Kind Regards

Hi Kathy

Thank you very much finding the marriages. They have helped me so much as it is hard to find out who the female side of the family married.
Its strange about Edward  ::)
Do you think he may have married later.
Edward was Henry, Fanny and Emma's Brother.
There were two other Sisters Victoria and Harriet A Cox. Victoria married George Becket Worthey from Barrowby, not sure when , But had there first son Arthur in 1891 born Somerby.

Once again thank you for your help

                                       Best Wishes
