Robinson's Bisbrooke & Preston.

Please can anyone help.
                                          Heres what i have so far.
                         John Robinson & Elizabeth _________
                                   John Robinson B:- 1769 Bisbrooke. D:- 1761 Bisbrooke.
                                   William Robinson B:- 1761 Bisbrooke. 
                                   Christopher Robinson B:- 1783 Bisbrooke.
Can anyone shed any light on William and also his mothers maiden name.

You have mentioned Preston in your Subject, so I will have a look at my Preston parish records in a couple of days. Afraid I don't have anything for Bisbrooke.

Hi Laura.
               Also have 2 more siblings for John & Elizabeth, Christina & Elizabeth. I see from your family tree on ancestry that you have a John Robinson born 1742 at Surfleet. Do you have anymore info on him. Could he be my John from Bisbrooke/Preston. Further more you also have a Thomas Trigg in your tree. He is my Gt, Gt, Gt, grandfather from my mothers side. That also brings the names of Exton & Liquorish into the scene. !! NO NO NO !! She replies.

It looks like we are related, but not sure whether via the Robinsons.

If you can see my tree, you will know that John Robinson(1742 Surfleet), was the son of Richard Robinson(Bap 7/4/1706 Pinchbeck) & Mary Clark. I have no further info about him I am afraid. I am descended from his brother William. But let me know if you think info about the William line might help you.

Thomas Trigg - I have a few of them. Do you mean the 1793 one, whose daughter Elizabeth married Thomas Liquorish? I am descended from his son John Holland Trigg - my gt gt grandfather.

I found a number of Robinsons in Preston, but no John&Elizabeth. I can pass on the other details if you want though - let me know.

               Yes please send the other details. I think that there is a conection there somewhere. John & Elizabeth named their first son John, i expect after himself. Their second son was named either William Robert Robinson or William Richard Robinson. The fich at the records office was only just readable. As for Thomas Trigg. Yes the same one, his daughter Elizabeth who married Thomas liqourish had a son Frank who married Sarah. They moved from Uppingham to Spalding Lincs about 1905. Their daughter Dinah Catherine is my Grand Mother.

          Sorry I forgot to say thanks for the help, im new to this and any info or help is much appreciated. Would you be so kind to check for Christiana Robinson, birth 18/06/1775 Preston. His her father William or John.

Happy to help. Preston baptisms for Robinson (no Christiana though) - may be missing, or an error by whoever transcribed these records. I checked all of my 20 villages (only takes a mo), and she isn't mentioned in any of the others either - baptism or marriage. If she was born in Preston, then her parents can't be John & Mary, as they had a son in July 1775.
