SIKES/ SYKES of Loughborough

I have recently found out that the parents of my GGG Grandmother Elizabeth Sikes/ Sykes born c1798 supposedly in Loughborough are Peter and Ann Sikes (nee Pegg). I've managed to find Peter's baptism at Loughborough on the All Saints PR's (not the IGI) but have found only one baptism for children of Peter and Ann and that is for a Mary baptised 1795 (and again later as an adult) at All Saints, Loughborough.
Has anyone come across this family before, perhaps in another village?

HI, I don,t know if there is a connection between my sykes but just thought I,d put my 2 cents in

I have a HARRIETT SYKES who I believe was from nottingham who married one of my ancestors JAMES DARBY in about 1844.she was b about 1823 and died in 1894. They were living in nottingham on bar lane in 1871.

this is all I know of the sykes.
