1841 census -Ramsgate look up

I am trying to find  Stephen Cramp.  He had been living in the St Laurence area of Ramsgate.  I believe he was alive in 1840 from his son's marriage certificate, but have no other details.

Any info would be great.

What was his son's name and how old was he when he married in 1840

Was the son born in Kent or elsewhere

If the son's name was John and he was born around 1811 - this is his parents marriage from the IGI at www.familysearch.org

His occupation was shown as Upholsterer.

His son was John born about 1811 in Ramsgate.

This could be his birth so we now have a rough idea of his age for an 1841 lookup

Just because the marriage certificate doesn't say that his father is deceased doesn't mean that he was definitely still alive.
