I am researching the Pasher family who (so far) are mostly from Newfoundland.
I have read an article which suggests that this family (or the name at least) originates in the Channel Isles.
Can anyone confirm this please? At the moment I am back to a Charles Pasher who was born in Newfoundland in 1793.
Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
