Look Up Request - Marriage and or Death

Hi,

I am looking for the marriage and or death of Bessie R Frater (maybe Elizabeth) she was born 17 June 1887 in Carlisle, England.

Left London as Miss B R Frater on the 16 Apr 1914 on the 'Rorotura'  port distination was Wellington NZ. she was a Mental Health Nurse.

Any help would be great.

There is a Probate for an Alfred Edward SHEPHERD, a retired baker who died at Tauranga, Will filed 21 Nov 1958 at Archives NZ's Auckland branch. Their ref: BBAE 1570 2704/58

I've just been told that on her birth record it has her name as Elizabeth R Frater, no mention of Veronica, but she may of added that herself. I feel that this is the right one, I think now the next step is to order and Marriage Cert and see what that has to say.

Yeah, get the FIRST marriage printout or cert, she maybe a little dodgy on the second.

I assume you know the parents, so it will be an easy ID.

Yes Father should be John Frater and Mary Gillies. So here hoping its the right one, her grand-daughter is sending for the marriage record.
