The Commission does not usually put requests for contact on our website. This is an exceptional case regarding the commemoration of the above men.

Interesting stuff Sarndra thanks for posting !!

Do hope they find family for each of them.

C J PRATT d 1917

Per CWGC he was 18 when he died on 9 Sep 1917, son of Mrs Elizabeth Pratt of 6 Webb's Buildings, Porchester St, Birmingham.

I think he may be Cyril John Pratt b Dec 1898 Aston.  In 1901 Cyril Pratt is a 2 yr old visitor to another Pratt household in Birmingham - Walter (38) & Ellen (37), perhaps an aunt and uncle. Also there are Eliza Pratt (32) married, presumably Cyril's mother, and Doris Pratt, 11 months, presumably Cyril's sister.

The WW2 Chaps don't have ages on CWGC........

There is the death registered of a William Florey in Birmingham in 3rd Qtr of 1946 stating his age as 39.

The death of a John C Baker in 1st Qtr of 1940 shows a man aged 40 died in Whitby, but I can't really think why he would be in Whitby ???

Somebody on GR has a possible match to Frederick Woodcock (right age, born Sheffield) so I have sent them a message with a link to the CWGC appeal.
