How to Make Census search easier?
« on: Friday 07 January 05 21:09 GMT (UK) »
I have just got the 1851 Staffs Census and only really want to look at Stoke on Trent and Lonton and Fenton in particular.

I can navigate to the major parishes but can anyone help me to find specific streets more easily?

I went through all 800 odd pdf pages for Longton and still couldn't find the streets I was after

Cheers

Jane

Erm, have you tried using the surname index to 1851 staffs to find who you want? . A couple of people on here have it if you want to put up the families.

It gives Piece and Folio number for each surname.
