St Marylebone Barracks 1841
« on: Monday 11 February 08 08:40 GMT (UK) »
Can any one tell me who was billeted in the St Marylebone barracks in 1841 at I am researching Joseph Shackleton and I'm pretty sure the Jos Shackelton on the register is him. Being completely ignorant on military matters I don't understand what
"St's John Wood 13 ks ?" means. Is this a India connection as he later was a East India co merchant.
