Milltown Cemetary
« on: Friday 15 February 08 16:44 GMT (UK) »
could someone please  look for a grave at Milltown Catholic Cemetary and let me know of the inscription, as it should be for my gt grandfather William Millar, as have come across a receipt stating that he paid to obtain a grant, no:6493 ( i think). At this time he lived at 29 Willowfield Street.

The plot of ground was said to be marked by the letters'Ye' and figures '55' in section B

Any info greatly appreciated

Hi Mrsscouser,
Had a look and found YE55B in Milltown. The h/stone inscription is
for Gilmore.
The office staff couldn't confirm who bought the grave, but did say that it didn't necessarily mean that the purchaser was buried there. Is Gilmore a connection?
If you can supply the date of your g-grandfathers death I will be only to happy to look the next time I go to Milltown,in about 3 weeks time, as I am going on holiday.
I can take photos if you wish.
