WYLIE/REID in Montcurr
« on: Sunday 09 January 05 22:59 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for info on Robert WYLIE's parents. I have Robert WYLIE bapt 27 Feb 1709 in Montcurr. Parents Robert WYLLIE (born 1683?) and Susanna REID (born 1687?) they were married in Dec 1702 in Kilwinning I think. Who were their parents? I've got stuck here!
Thanks

No connections yet, but you could look into the McAdam line, I have both Wyllie and Reid's in my research.

Hi
I noticed from one of your messages you are researching Reid's
Do you have a James Reid/Martha Paton married in Beith Ayrshire in 1813.
I know this is a long shot but I thought it worth a try.

Regards

Mary

I've been working on my Wyllie connections and only today found the birth certificate for Robert Wyllie b 1709 who is my 6xgreat grandfather. This, of course, allowed me to go back to generations.  Please contact me if you think we can share info.
