i have another problem

i  am looking for the parents and siblings of thomas pidsley dob abt 1844 his wifes name was elizabeth born abt 1840 i have found them on the census for 1871 with 5 children children 
elizabeth age 9
lucy hannah age10
sylvia sarah age 6 months
thomas age 7
william age 5

but then i find a emily pidsley dob the same as sylvia sarah on the 1881 census i am getting really confused i am sure they are the same family but how can this be ?/??/?
and also how do i find out who thomases parents were and also elizabeths

any help would be greatly appreciated

There is a marriage for a Sylvia Pidsley to Albert Mapps 2/4 1890 Chepstow 11a 25

On the 1891 & 1901 census she gives her age as 25 & 35

In 1881 she is with her aunt Mary H Liscombe (surname Ridler crossed out and replaced with Liscombe)

If this is the same Sylvia it cannot be her in the 1891 census with her father
