I am interested in the BATCHELDER pedigree
on pages 11 - 13.
Concerning The Batchelder families in & of
Chedgrave; Thurlton; Hardley; Sizeland;
Langley; Raveningham & Mundham.

I am interested in a Matthew Batchelder who had children in Sisland.
And also his parents, if they shown.
I have a spotty amount of info on him.
He was I believe? married several times?
He and wife Sarah had 5 sons born in Sisland between 1733 - 1738
I do not know his ancestry or how he came about to be in Sisland?
It is possible that his father may have also been a Matthew Batchelder,
this Matthew the father was I believe the son of Charles & Alice?
And I have found a marriage at Chedgrave in 1668 for a Matthew.
I was hoping to discover the facts about these relationships.
There are a few entries in the Sisland parish records that I can not fit in :
A John buried there 20 Dec 1651.
A Baptism of Mary on 11 Nov 1660, daughter of Thomas & Mary.
Likely the John could have been a sibling of Mary?
But these are at least a generation before Matthew, I am just not sure
about the details.

Matthew Batchelder is a name I have come across, although I can't as yet find a link to my Batchelor/Batchelder/Batcheldor maternal family side.

I have:
Matthew Batchelder m. September 23 1721 Sarah Lovic/Levie both of Raveningham Norfolk. They had 8 children in Raveningham (1722-1732) then 5 more in Sisland (1734-38)
then Matthew m. June 12 1740 Elizabeth Butcher, then Matthew m. July 23 1758 Hannah Rising.

I suspect this Matthew Batchelder was bur. in Sisland in May 1779 age 85, which puts his birth around 1694/5. None of his 13? children appears to have been a Jonathan, although Jonathan Batchelder's death in Sisland aged 87 in 1819 (see my other post) fits.

Of the 13 children of Matthew Batchelder above, only a John born in 1734/35 fits the Sisland line.
