Hi deb ,In 1901 census in brandon it says born 1861 st stephans then in 1891 it says 1862 st austell but on her death certificate in 1910 it says age 52,so everything Is confusing without the marriage certificate im stuck

Hi Deb,In the 1861 you found for annie greenslade she was age 7 that means she would have been born 1854 do you think she could have told fibs about her age census and death certificates dont seem to match up

Hi Lynnj

I am not sure ... we seem to have a lot of dates for her ..

1861= b c 1854
1871= b 1852
1881= b 1854
1891= b 1861
1901 =b 1862
death cert = b c 1858
who registered her death ? they may not have known her real age

This also depends on whether we have the correct Ann Greenslade ... she does appear to be with her family up until 1881.

i still cannot find an Ann Honey nor the marriage ...

Another thought ... Annie registered the birth of William John , with maiden name Greenslade.
John Harry registered the births of Beatrice and Lily with his wife's maiden name as Honey ....

do you think they could be two different wives ... maybe Annie Greenslade died and he remarried Annie Honey ...

just thinking out loud ... I love a good puzzle  ;D

Lynn

DON'T give up !!!! we will get it sorted somehow ... ;D

So William John Rundle supposedly had a sister called Annie ...  that adds to the mystery as he was with sisters Beatrice and Lily in 1901 ..ummm will have a look around

hang in there !

Do you have John Harry through the censuses ?
