The only Campbell in the MI book for Caputh.

Thank you not the relative I was expecting but it does go to show that a lot of people who have lived there make their mark in the world.Perhaps it was only the ones who shifted away that could afford grave markers.

On memorial inside church, north wall

To the Glory of God. The side windows in this Chancel have been erected by members of this parish in thankful memory of those who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1919.

Hi Ron, The ist one I found is HAGARD:-

225/90 Hier lye MARGAR(ET) LEIT (wife) to JOHN HAG(ART) who der 1676 March 27 of her age 32 (IH, JS, IH, IB).

419 In loving memory of CHARLES ANDERSON died 5th Feb. 1932 aged 83 years, and his wife GRACE HAGGART died 18th Feb. 1935 aged 81 years, their son ALEX. ANDERSON died 21st Aug. 1952 aged 62 years.

545 These Lamps are erected in loving memory of AMELIA STRATON or VALENTINE HAGART of Glendelvine, born at Caputh 11th October 1807 died at Edinburgh 9th August 1899.

The sacred memory - JOHN hagardo of Glendelvine, esquire, famous scooter with juridical means socil. He was a man righteous, and of firm purpose of the oppressed, and do not give allunde the help of an advocate; In defending the freedom and rights of citizens, especially strenuous legitmamque wine, dear honorable friend died much strava, p. On his bad health 1816 at age 57.

It appears that John is quite a character including legal battles with the Church etc.
