I'm so sorry to hear Alan is no longer with us in person, his spirit however, will stay and keep an eye on us all I'm sure.

Not known you long - but have just been given your sad news.  Alan is in a better place a rose blooms and dies but the scent lingers forever.  Take care all my best wishes to you and your family.

Its so sad to hear about Alans death. I havent met Alan In person , but chatted to him a couple of times. Sybil Im lost for words , just dont know what to say. I thought this poem might help.

Sybil,  Sorry to hear your sad news.  God give you strength to bear your loss.

I only knew Alan for a short while in the chat-room but we shared quite of few memories of West Ham.  Also shared a few laughs.

He will always be with you in your heart.
