Looking back through the old postings, I came across your plea for help with Matthew Taylor.

Unfortunately no one has answered your query - may be if you gave a little more information of what you already know about Matthew, (like census records, parish records, etc) it may help others to help you.

Thank you for the interest in my TAYLORS . All I know is that he shows up in the 1871  UK  census  at 18 Clements Road
Bermondsey London    and his birth place is listed as Lewes Sussex   age 39 years. And that is all we know of him . That he is related  comes  through tracking his  son Francis J Taylor who  was  my great grandfather  . If that helps  any.
