17 Nov 1874 Ethiopia Passenger List

Am I in the right spot to request information about a passenger aboard the Eithiopia?  My gg-grandfather, William Sutherland was aboard with his family.  I've found their names on the passenger list but there is an extra Elizabeth Sutherland, age 37, along with their names.  Is there any way I can find anything out about her, like who she was, where she went, anything?

Can you provide us with an age for William or members of his family? 
We may be able to find them on the 1880 US census, and perhaps the "extra" Eliz. will still be nearby.

Also, do you know at which port they arrived?   New York? Boston?

Thank you for responding!  They arrived in New York Nov. 16, 1874 aboard the SS Ethiopia and migrated immediately to Missouri.  William was age 34, his wife Ann age 36, son Angus age 16, son Robert age 13, daughter Elizabeth age 10, and daughter Agnes Alexander age 3.  The extra Elizabeth is written at the bottom of the list and was age 37.  I found William & family in Bates county Missouri, US Census, but the extra Elizabeth isn't in the household.  I'm thinking she possibly got married, thus changing her last name.  If you can find her my hat will be off to you!  Regardless, thank you so much for your time and effort!

This is where you found William and his extended family.

Two households down on the same page is:
Bud McDaniel, white, male, age 30, farmer, born Virginia

In Missouri Marriage Records, I found:

Deep Water Township, Bates County
22 July, 1880
Bud McDaniel married Miss Elizabeth Sutherland.

Are you interested in info on Eliz and Bud on the US census...they had about 7 children and moved quite a bit..but I have located them on 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930.

Yes, I'll look at what you've found.  My gg aunt Elizabeth, born in 1863, married a Bud McDaniel and someone on ancestry.com told me she was his second wife.

Bud and Elizabeth have been married for 19 years.  She has birthed 7 children, all of whom are still living.
William works on the farm, all the others have no occupations.
The date of Elizabeth's entry to the USA is "Unknown"
