John Armstrong of Pimlico d.1803
« on: Monday 07 April 08 01:50 BST (UK) »
I am looking for the death/burial and age of John Armstrong of Pimlico in the parish of Saint George, Hanover Square, County of Middlesex. Occupation: a carpenter and builder, husband of Ann Armstrong, brother of Reverend Matthew Armstrong.

John's Will was written: 25th October 1798 and proved: (11th March) 1803.

John went into partnership in 1799 with Jeffry Wyatt (later Sir Jeffry Wyatville),  he had premises at brook street/brook street mews, between Grosvenor square and new bond street, he also had a messuage/tenement in Sloane street in the parish of Saint Luke, Chelsea and premises in Pimlico.

He is said to have died in 1803, whether this is from his will or not, i'm not sure, if he did die in 1803, it would have been in the first quarter.

I have some information about this family which might be of interest to you, but as your post is so old I'll wait for your reply as you may no longer be active on here.
