Essex 1861 lookup please

Hi

Can anyone lookup HANNAH LAWRENCE in Helions Bumpstead, Essex.  She was living there in 1871 as a widow, aged 62.  I would like to know who her husband was (if still alive then).  Also any other members of the houshold.

Hi Sue

Although Helions Bumpstead is in Essex, it comes under Risbridge Registration District, which is included in the 1861 Suffolk CD set, not Essex.  Having said that, your Hannah is there in 1861 :

Thanks for this information.  That now gives me her maiden name.  I shall delve deeper now.

I seem to have a few relatives in places where the county changes each year!   I'll now add Helions Bumpstead to that list.
