Would someone please help me.
I have a marriage cert, I can not read the brides fathers surname, I am desperate to find it out so i can do some more work on the line.
My other problem is that i also can not post images onto this site either, i have tried and tried, it will just not work for me.
Is there anyone who can, who would be willing to let e mail them my cert and they post it for me Pleeeeese.
All i need to know is the brides  father's surname.

I am assuming that the bride had been married before otherwise the surname should be the same as the brides?  Is that correct

Yes she is a widow on the marriage cert. There is also another relative with the same surname on the cert and i can not read that  either it is so annoying.

Here it is and I reckon its Cockrane although I would expect to see it spelt as Cochrane

Thank you for your suggestions but i have tried both spellings and it is neither of them.
It is a real puzzle.
I have tried to read it with a light and magnifying glass but no luck at all.
I am further hampered by the fact that on some of the certs she is Janet and on others she is Jennette.

Where are they on the censuses from 1881 - I couldn't find them to see where Jennette was born.

I thought of looking on freebmd for a Heath marriage to a spouse called Jennette

NB - for anybody else looking - the marriage was between Jennette Heath widow aged 24 and Edward Holding aged 22
