I have to apologise to you.

I am not a member of NDFHS @ Bolbec Hall.

 I asked because I regularly go to Tyne&Wear Archives and Newcastle City Library and thought whatever you wanted access to, would be available in one of these two sources.... but I was wrong.

Let us hope a NDFHS member will take up your search.

Hollywood Cemetery

John Wilson born about 1864, died 1940 - 1950. Lived at Hedley Terrace, Gosforth with step daughter Ada Miles.

There's so many John Wilson's died 1940 - 1950 so I thought a different approach might find him.

So is he buried in Hollywood cemetery ?

If he died in Gosforth area, his death registration would have been made in Northumberland South Registration District ( deaths prior to 1936 would have been registered with Castle Ward R.D.)

         The Holywood burial registers are at the City Library Local History Centre as well as Tyne Wear Archives
From the burial register 1943-1998
Entry No 654  24 January 1951 John Wilson 86years  63 Hedley Street Section B Grave 97 consecrated

There were only 2 John Wilsons between 1943 and 1951
The other in case it is of interest was

Entry No 217 25 Oct 1945 John Wilson  81 years 136 Holywood Avenue Section A  Grave 140 consecrated

That's him, the address confirms it, Ada lived at 63 Hedley Terrace when she made her will in the 1960's.
