meyler/halpin of wexford

Can anybody help me in my research for my grandads William Christopher MEYLER or Michael Francis HALPIN it is thought they both originated from Wexford.  Any info on any Meylers still living in Wexford today would help.

Any idea of brthdates, parents' names, etc.? Names and details of possible living people can't be posted on Rootschat but it's hard to give any advice without having an idea of dates at the very least.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi,
Thanks for your prompt reply, William Christopher MEYLER was born in 1895 and his father was called Laurence, thats really all I know, I think he had a brother who died areound 1921/2   Michael Francis Halpin was born in 1896

There are Meylers in Tacumshin – Meylers Pub near the windmill.

I'm actually a Meyler originally from Wexford. I still have Aunts & Uncles that live there, I'm in Florida now. I don't know my family history but I can ask my aunts & uncles. I know my Dad's name was Patrick J Meyler (3-17-1948), His Dad's name was Murtagh Meyler sorry I don't know birthday, he has brothers and sisters most of them in Wexford Angela Meyler, Irene Meyler, Kathleen Meyler, Tony Meyler, John Meyler, Muriel Meyler. His mother's name was Kathleen Meyler (Colvin I think was maiden name) up around Clonard Wexford.I will see what info I can find out.
