1841, 1851 Richard Jervis
« on: Saturday 26 April 08 23:08 BST (UK) »
Richard Jervis married Mary and had Anne 1812, John 1812, Sarah 1817, Thomas 1820 all born in Burslem. I am unceratain of the birth date and place of Richard or whether they had other children and hope that the family can be found in the 1841 or 1851 census to provide this information.

Appreciate any assistance

Many thanks

Graham

I will take a look, I also found on the 1841 a John bc1811 who also looks to be a Potter of some sort (not that far away from Thomas), does this tie in with family occupations

Hi Tricia,

Thanks for the warning. I wasn't aware of the first baptism. Thats going to make it rather difficult to separate these two. ???

Best wishes

The potter occupation is quite leikely in that area. Could you send me the details please.

Many thanks patrish.

1841 HO107/1004/2/3/7
Blythe Marsh, Dilhorn, Staffs.

John Jervis 30 Potter ... something   :-\
Grace 30
Mary 10
Eliza 8
Samuel 6
Ann 4
Thomas 6 months. ........... all born in the county.

The piece number is not that far away from Thomas also I wondered about the baby here Thomas  possibly named after his brother, pure speculation though.  :)

The second baptism that Tricia found looks the most interesting as you did say his was born in Burslem. But as she advised  you need to be cautious.
