Marriage look up please
« on: Sunday 27 April 08 10:58 BST (UK) »
I am looking for the marriage of Mary Lowe & Edward Anderton somewhere in Lincolnshire, around 1830. By 1832, they were living in Barton upon Humber and had 6 daughters between then and 1843. The last of these was called Septiana, which seem to suggest that there had been a 7th child, before 1832. Edward came from Winterton, but I have no idea where Mary was from.

Thanks for looking

Hi,

According to the Bolingbroke deanery marriage index for 1813-1837:
Edward ANDERTON married Mary LOWE in 1831 at Asgarby.

Blimey! thank you so much, both of you. I had looked for this marriage for ages, but had concentrated on the deaneries close to Barton. I wouldn't have thought about looking at Bolingbrooke, but a researcher I met at the Sheffield FHS Fair on Saturday, suggested looking further afield.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
