Advise needed please...

Hello,
A little advise needed please...
The only information I have is a name and birth place, as its post 1901 it obviously will not show up on any census, is there any way forward except for buying the birth certificate??

Hi Robin

If you have no other info re: parents etc then the only way to progress is to buy the birth cert

If you know the year etc - we can look up the reference for you on the full GRO index

If the birth was in or after the september qtr of 1911 - mothers maiden name will be shown against the GRO entry which may help trace a marriage (unless it's a name like Smith/Jones!!)

This is one of the worst ones I have tackled information wise....
All I have is Reuben James Harvey born in 1908 in Docking.
Any help would be great
