This is all new to me and I could do with some help please. So far, I'm back to 1881 at 9 Countess St, Preston Quarter, Whitehaven. Living at the above address is John Rooney, born aprox 1841 in Ireland (possibly Co Down) His wife Bridget Rooney born 1843 in Whitehaven and their 6 children, also born in Whitehaven:
Mary Ann born 1862 - Elizabeth born 1868 - John born 1871 - Bridget born 1874 - James born 1876 and Daniel born 1878. I would love to find out when John & Bridget got married and also if John was living with parents in Whitehaven before he married / or / did he come over from Ireland on his own? Any information I would be so grateful for, thanks, Vicky
