NO father I'm afraid  :(

Frederick Walton ATKINSON age 13 and
Walter William    ATKINSON age 10 both born Islington
are boarders at Grove House School ST Pancras.

No street name but it's next door to the Police station and scrolling back three pages there is Pond? Square.

Does that help at all? It seems like the boys are brothers as there are lots of kids there but these two are listed together.

Thank you so much.

Isn't this just typical, though - it's taken me ages to get this far
but it will be him. They were a family of solicitors and stockbrokers so might have known they would have farmed off their children. Will start again searching by their mother who described herself as a 'Lady' on one of the census. Didn't stop her son fathering an illegitimate child though!

Your help is very much appreciated,Tricia
