Dear Lincsclass,

Could you please lookup the marriages of: Benjamin Lamb to Jane ?Sleigtholme/sleightham c early1830s (Lincs or Yorks probably) and William Lamb to Mary Billiatt, early 1830s, probably Lincs or Notts.

Thank you for your help Geoff and Claire,

The Benjamin Lamb Jane/Sleightholme marriage is the one I was after, but the Sculcoates marriage (which I had seen) may be another relative (unless Benjamin married twice). The Sleightholmes originally came from Yorkshire (mine from Scalby and environs). Benjamin's son William married Mary Anne Sleightholme - now proven to be his first cousin. Another link in the chain!
