That is wonderful, you've taken me back another generation, thank you so much, I'm completely thrilled.
I'll try again for William in Glamorgan as he ended up shipbuilding in Cardiff Docks so maybe was already away working there.
Can't thank you enough, you've made my day!

Hello

I don't have access to all my info at the moment - did James die in Hong Kong? I will have a look through my paperwork later, I think I have more posts on Rootschat about the family.

Kind regards
Louise

Aloha Louise,
James H Thomas died in1905 in Hilo, Hawaii and is buried with his wife  Adelaide and two daughters Mary Jane and Mollie.
The other siblings including my Grandfather, James Thomas are buried in various plots and islands of Hawaii. Our greatest family question is why James Henry (a ship builder) left to come to the Hawaiian Islands.
We are on a quest to find surving family memebers in Wales n UK and are planning a trip there in about a year.
Our records show that James H was 3 years younger than son William. we know that James Henry's mother was Mary labbet.
Are you a Family member? and from which of their children. We are so glad to be in touch.
sincerely,

Michael Thomas
