Hi Beryl,
I have a Robert McKean in my tree, he was born in ireland in 1855, (parentage William McKean and Naomi Horn (e) ). A poor relief application made by his mother Naomi Horn McKean in 1894 states that Robert was born in Dungannon in Ireland, he was a baker to trade and at one point lived in Boston, USA. Now as far as i,m aware he returned to ireland will try and get date of death for you, not sure if linked to you.

Hi
There are still McKeans living and farming just outside of St Johnstone. Their address and telephone number should be in the Donegal Telephone Directory
