 :(looking for relatives of joseph prior. born 1845 in enniskillen. he married mary ann. they had children william,  katherine, emma, mary ann, joseph h, annie and percy. he moved to the birmingham area of england. don't know what year. can any one give me more info  thanks

thanks sue. yes i do have this info.  i have spent many hours looking but just cant  get any more info. would like to know about his parents. any ideas where to look.  thanks

Civil registration of births in Ireland began 1864 so their will be no birth certificate for Joseph. To find information on his family from church records (if they exist) you need to know the family's religion and where they lived (parish if not actual townland). 1901 is the first complete census for Ireland so it will be very difficult to get details of the Prior family.
Since it look's like Joseph's wife Mary Ann was born in England it might be that their marriage took place in England rather than Ireland. The marriage certificate should hopefully list Joseph's father's name (unless he was illegitimate).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

thank you for that info. don't know what religion he was or where he lived. only enniskillen. will have to see what i can find out from  mary ann's side of the tree ???
